Why we do Cow Puja during Housewarming ceremony? கிரகபிரவேசத்தின்போது கோ பூஜை ஏன்?

After the completion of Cow Puja, the cow with its calf brought inside the house by keeping ulakkai (a lengthy wooden tool used for rice pounding) at the house entrance. If the cow and calf enter the house without any trouble, then the house is suitable for our living. Or, if the cow and calf frightened and refuse to enter the house, then we can decide that there is some thing wrong in that house and it is not suitable for living, because cow’s eyes can see the negative energies. As the presence of negative energies is dangerous, cow with its calf will not enter the house.  What a wonderful knowledge of our ancestors! Anything should be done after knowing, why we do so.

கோ பூஜை முடிந்தவுடன் வீட்டின் வாசலில் உலக்கையை வைத்து பசுமாட்டை கன்றுடன் வீட்டினுள் அழைத்து வருவர். எந்த முரண்டும் இல்லாமல் அப்சுவும் கன்றும் வீட்டினுள் வந்துவிட்டால் அந்த வீடு நாம் வசிப்பதற்கு ஏற்ற வீடு. இல்லையென்றால் அப்சுவும் கன்றும் மிரண்டு வீட்டினுள் செல்ல மறுத்தால் அங்கு ஏதோ தவறாக உள்ளது என்றும் அது நாம் வசிப்பதற்கு அருகையற்ற வீடு என்றும் முடிவு செய்யலாம். ஏனென்றால் பசுவின் கண்களுக்கு துஷ்ட சக்திகள் தெரியும். அது இருந்தால் ஆபத்து என்று தன் கன்றுடன் வீட்டினுள் வராது.

என்னே நம் முன்னோர் அறிவு. எதையும் ஏன் செய்கிறோம் என்று தெரிந்து செய்யவேண்டும்.
